中國(guó)人民銀行金融市場(chǎng)司司長(zhǎng)鄒瀾1月18日在新聞發(fā)布會(huì)上表示，我國(guó)穩(wěn)妥推進(jìn)數(shù)字人民幣研發(fā)試點(diǎn)，截至2021年12月31日，數(shù)字人民幣試點(diǎn)場(chǎng)景已超過(guò)808.51萬(wàn)個(gè)，累計(jì)開(kāi)立個(gè)人錢(qián)包2.61億個(gè)，交易金額875.65億元。
China's digital yuan transactions hit nearly 87.57 billion yuan at the end of 2021, as the country ramped up research and pilot use of the central bank's digital currency. A total of 261 million personal wallets for the digital yuan had been opened, and the number of pilot scenarios had exceeded 8.08 million, said Zou Lan, an official with the People's Bank of China, at a press conference on Jan 18.

數(shù)字人民幣是中國(guó)人民銀行（以下簡(jiǎn)稱(chēng)“央行”）發(fā)行的數(shù)字形式的法定貨幣，由指定運(yùn)營(yíng)機(jī)構(gòu)參與運(yùn)營(yíng)，以廣義賬戶(hù)體系為基礎(chǔ)，支持銀行賬戶(hù)松耦合功能，與實(shí)物人民幣等價(jià)，具有價(jià)值特征和法償性。
數(shù)字人民幣主要定位于現(xiàn)金類(lèi)支付憑證，主要用于滿(mǎn)足國(guó)內(nèi)零售支付需求。在未來(lái)的數(shù)字化零售支付體系中，數(shù)字人民幣和指定運(yùn)營(yíng)機(jī)構(gòu)的電子賬戶(hù)資金具有通用性，共同構(gòu)成現(xiàn)金類(lèi)支付工具。
央行對(duì)數(shù)字貨幣的研發(fā)始于2014年；2016年，央行成立了數(shù)字貨幣研究院，完成法定數(shù)字貨幣第一代原型系統(tǒng)搭建，加快數(shù)字人民幣的研發(fā)步伐；2017年，央行組織商業(yè)機(jī)構(gòu)開(kāi)展數(shù)字人民幣研發(fā)試驗(yàn)；2020年起，數(shù)字人民幣進(jìn)入推廣落地階段。

We should guide reforms of the global governance system with the principle of fairness and justice, and uphold the multilateral trading system with the World Trade Organization at its center. We should make generally acceptable and effective rules for artificial intelligence and digital economy on the basis of full consultation, and create an open, just and non-discriminatory environment for scientific and technological innovation. This is the way to make economic globalization more open, inclusive, balanced and beneficial for all, and to fully unleash the vitality of the world economy.
